In 2006 Tara Smith and Brenda Pedersen opened Hairspray Salon in the bottom of a renovated barn. It was a rustic and unique space that was our home for 8 years. On June 30 of 2015 we moved to our newly renovated home in the Shenandoah Square Plaza snuggled between the Anytime Fitness and Aimonetti Insurance in Woodstock Virginia.

We have a friendly team of professional hair stylists, makeup artists, waxers, color technicians, manicurists, formal hair artists all of which have years of experience and stay up to date with the latest hair trends. Hairspray uses Paul Mitchell professional products on our clients when completing hair services. Upon walking into Hairspray you will be welcomed by a large retail area that stocks professional hair products from Paul Mitchell, KUENE, It’s a 10, Joico, Oasis, and Schwarzkopf. Our team’s mission is to always make you feel confident and look beautiful before you leave our salon. We accept walk-ins but remember that we are a very busy salon so a reservation is recommended!

We offer multiple color lines that include washable, semi-permanent and permanent. The majority of the color we use is Paul Mitchell.
